We’re still going to operate as The Co-operative Bank for intermediaries and Coventry for intermediaries for the time being. This means there will be no impact on the way you use our services right now, so please continue to direct all enquiries relating to criteria, case submission and updates, registrations and procuration fee payments to your current contacts at The Co-operative Bank for intermediaries and Coventry for intermediaries (including Godiva Mortgages).
At completion, The Co-operative Bank will become a subsidiary of the Society and return to mutual ownership. Over time the intention is for customers to become members of the Society.
Coventry Building Society and The Co-operative Bank will continue to operate under their current names and branding with separate banking licences while Coventry Building Society carry out the work needed to provide a joined-up service which may take up to several years.
